COUNSELING AND SUPPORT

Whatever you are going through, I'd be honored to work with you. I have worked with people to navigate challenging situations in their lives, big transitions, sexuality and gender, and also to find more meaning and deeper connection in their lives. I am not a licensed psychotherapist, but I have trained in numerous modalities. I offer a non-judgemental and non-clinical framework, and I welcome all sexualities, genders, and lifestyles. Some of the theories and practices I use are based on mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, intersectional feminism, self-compassion, ecopsychology, and integration. If you are looking for a licensed therapist or another type of practitioner, I'd be happy to help you find someone who is a good fit.

What do sessions look like?

Let's plan on making a 30-minute free phone call to make a sketch of what you are looking for and logistics that work. All of my clients are unique in how we work together.

My goal is flexibility. Some of my clients love to meet once/week in person in a standard 60-minute fashion. Other clients I have check in every few months to bounce some ideas around, try them out, then come back and reflect. Some people wish to work with guided imagery or depth hypnosis for a few sessions and then integrate learning. All of this is welcomed. I have worked with people for years and I have worked with people for a quick check-in or to get something off their chest.

Sessions are 60-90 minutes in length, $95/session with a sliding scale option of $60-$130/session.

What I have found is that so much "stuff" can come up around the 56th minute of an hour long session. I want to make sure we have space to cover whats coming up for you. We plan on 60 minutes and have 30 minutes wiggle-room to get some extra stuff out that has been on your chest, ask questions, look at resources, reflect on what you need from me in the next session, etc. This is why I charge "per session" rather than per hour.

SEX AND INTIMACY COUNSELING

Sex, intimacy, sexuality, gender, and partnerships are some of my favorite things to work on and explore with people. Whether it is working on orgasm anxiety, exploring fantasies or BDSM, enhancing sexual knowledge, opening up relationships, exploring genders, or working on old wounds or challenges, it can be exciting and vulnerable work. Through somatic meditation, role-play, art therapy, journaling, breath-work, dream exploration, coaching, guided imagery, and various other modalities it has been such an honor working to explore these critical and dynamic parts of of people. It would be an honor to work with you!

*Please note: While I respect all forms of sexuality work, none of my work is 'hands-on' or erotic in nature.

RESOURCES

Along with working together I have a long list of other practitioners and support services, books to borrow, a dropbox full of research and articles, and I am happy to help you navigate systems to find good resources to connect you with. I would also be happy to meet for a session to help find support that feels like a good fit depending on what aspect of your life you are exploring and what modality you are interested in.

INTEGRATION

Integration is powerful way to make the most of experiences (psychedelic, sexual, or other) that seem hard to understand, challenging to talk about, or profound. As my world merged more with plant medicine I joined the board of ERIE (Entheogenic Research, Integration, and Education). You could schedule a one-on-one session, or attend one of the peer integration circles. Please visit https://www.erievision.org/ for more information or email me.

GUIDED IMAGERY

Connecting to a more intuitive wisdom through guided imagery is an ancient practice and can be used on its own or as a complement to Allopathic therapies. This can support people through pregnancy, birth, addiction, trauma, new life events, family challenges and health concerns. It is truly remarkable to see what comes up either intuitively, somatically, or through forgotten memories. I am certified in Transformational Imagery through my MA degree in Integrative Health.
